Dear Twin Cities AFTRA Members ,

Now is the time for you to speak your mind. As we work toward the creation of a new union—the initial plan/proposal is slated to be presented to the AFTRA and SAG National Boards as early as late January—your input will be essential!

Please don’t shy away from sharing your thoughts. Your ideas may very well be the gems we have been waiting for. You must act now, as the leadership of both unions is working on proposals as you read this.

As your Local President, I often hear from members about issues that concern them as we move forward in the process – from union policy rules to organizing Twin Cities into a strong union area. If you want to give your input and local perspective on any aspect of what the new union must accomplish, you have the opportunity to do that now!
