Professionals know that preparation takes consistent training and rehearsal. The Austin Actors Conservatory is dedicated to providing unique and relevant  educational workshops, seminars, readings and creative opportunities for Texas talent. Formed in 2008, the Austin Actors Conservatory is a group of committed Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists living in Texas. Our mission is to provide professional training and industry networking opportunities that will help raise the level of professional talent, create homegrown industry opportunities and bring more business to Texas.

HOW TO JOIN
You can become a member of the Conservatory if you are a current/paid-up member of either SAG or AFTRA. Pay a yearly membership fee of $25 and attend any of our workshops, seminars, events and participate as a member of the Script to Screen Team.

Not a Union Member Yet?
You can become a fan of the Conservatory. Fans pay $20 for each seminar, workshop or event. Unfortunately, fans cannot participate in the Script to Screen reads but can attend the Script to Screen events for free. (Note: An additional fee for high-profile events may be required See Calendar of Events.)
