Each year, AFTRA recovers millions of dollars in lost wages, severance and other benefits for members through grievances, arbitrations and NLRB proceedings. Examples include AFTRA’s successful arbitration against Clear Channel requiring the company to make its stock option plan available to announcers in San Francisco; and the securing of severance pay for Westwood One employees in Boston in an NLRB proceeding.
