Hi, and welcome to the official Web site of the Office of the General Counsel, University of California. I'm Charlie Robinson, Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel to the Regents. As General Counsel, I provide general advice to the Regents, to the President, and to other senior University administrators across the system. I also oversee the delivery of legal services to the University through the Office of the General Counsel, sometimes known as OGC, through the central office here in Oakland, and the legal affairs offices on the campuses. This site is part of our effort to deliver sound and timely legal advice to our clients in a manner that is efficient and convenient for them.
