The Streamy Awards

The AFTRA-covered Web series “The Guild” and “Fear Clinic” were among the winners April 11 at the 2nd Annual Streamy Awards held at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Streamys, which is also an AFTRA-covered program, were created by The International Academy of Web Television to honor excellence in Web TV programming and were hosted this year by AFTRA Member Paul Scheer.

AFTRA member Felicia Day of “The Guild” was named Best Female Actor in a Comedy Web Series and the series itself was honored with a Streamy for Best Directing for a Comedy Web Series.  The series “Fear Clinic” was won two craft awards for Best Sound Design in a Web Series and Best Visual Effects in a Web Series.

AFTRA member Zadi Dias was named Best Web Series Host for her work on the AFTRA-covered program “Epic Fu.” Other AFTRA member winners were Zach Galifianakis for his work on “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis” and “Weird Al” Yankovic for his work on “Know Your Meme.”
