H1N1 Flu Information
MEMBERS OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT COMMUNITY
As the worldwide response to the H1N1 (Swine) Flu outbreak continues, key UCOP personnel are meeting regularly to gather and disseminate information regarding the actions being taken to protect the health and well-being of the University community.
This webpage has been established to provide information for UCOP employees including resources, updates, and frequently asked questions, and will be updated on a regular basis as new information becomes available.
Given your role of supporting the University system, you may receive inquiries from your colleagues at the campuses, medical centers, or other University locations.
- Questions from UC employees should be directed to the UCOP Emergency Management Team. This team will consolidate and respond to these questions.
- Questions from media or any other external source should be directed to our Communications Office.
Important Note:
The symptoms of H1N1 flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular flu. If you have flu-like symptoms, stay home from work and contact your health care provider. Your health care provider will determine whether influenza testing or treatment is needed.
