Wilbur Mills
Rep. Wilbur Mills (D-AR) lost his chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee in 1974 after his affair with an Argentinian stripper known as Fanny Foxe became public.

Wayne L. Hays
Rep. Wayne L. Hays (D-Ohio) resigned from Congress in 1976 after the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct investigated allegations that Hays, then chairman of the House Administration Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, was keeping secretary Elizabeth Ray on the Administration Committee payroll primarily to serve as his mistress. This scandal spurred major reforms in the House of Representatives. Hays was also accused of financial improprieties during his time as chair of the House International Relations International Operations Subcommittee.

Tongsun Park
Tongsun Park was the man chiefly accused in allegations that in the early and mid-1970s South Korean agents had tried to buy influence with members of Congress. The charges were investigated by the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct and the Senate Ethics Committee.
