The Bentley Historical Library was established in 1935 by the University of Michigan Regents to carry out two functions: to serve as the official archives of the university and to document the history of the state of Michigan and the activities of its people, organizations and voluntary associations. The materials in the Bentley Historical Library Web Archives reflect the mission and priorities of the library as we seek to preserve online resources of unique, essential, and enduring value.

Description: The Center For Global Health cultivated new approaches and partnerships and conducted research, training, and service activities in order to promot global health equity. Among its objectives were catalyzing discussion, promoting research and action, training new scientists, and building the capacity for research for health in the global south. The Center closed in 2012 and its projects transitioned to other U-M units. This website documents the Center's programs, funding opportunities, and publications.
