Collection: University of Michigan Schools, Colleges, Research, Centers, and Institutes Web Archives
Description: GRID was formed in 2012 by faculty and students at the University of Michigan to build a community of scholars and potential practitioners interested in Information and Communications Technology and Development (ICTD). The growing field of ICTD is a multi-disciplinary area of work that examines and often actively participates in issues of economic and social development resulting from the growth (or lack) of access to technology throughout the world. The GRID webpage lists campus resources including classes, research projects, and interested people working on ICTD issues throughout the University of Michigan. Site includes information about current projects, events, and publications.
