Description: "The central mission of the Michigan Journal of Gender & Law is to create a feminist legal publication that will help expand and develop legal discourse beyond traditional boundaries. The Journal, which was founded in 1992, is dedicated to providing a forum for exploring how gender issues (and related issues of race, class, sexual orientation, and culture) impact law and society. The Journal seeks to compare, contrast, and combine theoretical and practical perspectives on gender issues in order to provide a bridge between theory and practice. To achieve these purposes, the Journal will publish the views of legal scholars, social scientists, practitioners, students and others. The Journal is committed to the idea that different views, however passionately held, will all receive discussion within the Journal. We welcome the submissions and responses of our readers."

Description: "Beginning with its first issue in 1950, Res Gestae has continuously served as the newspaper of the Law School; a publication written by and for the law students. It publishes approximately twice a month and is commonly known as the RG. The title has its origins in the first student publication at the Law School, a yearbook from 1895. Res Gestae is a rule of evidence applying to expressions made at the time an act occurs, where there is neither time nor motive for misrepresentation. Accordingly, the RG exists to speak frankly and tell it like it is, whether it is news, commentary, arts features, announcements and the like."

Description: "Michigan Journal of International Affairs (MJIA) was founded as a completely student-run, undergraduate publication at the University of Michigan. Each semester, the Journal publishes opinion-based pieces pertaining to international affairs in the areas of politics, history, economics, and culture. Our writers author pieces across five different regions (see below) and are actively involved in the entire process, from editing to final distribution. MJIA also serves as a platform for discussions concerning global affairs: every year, the Journal organizes panel meetings to analyze a specific international issue from the past few months. Our regions: Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East."
