AMS is renowned as the premier center for the gathering of communities in the Southeast Dearborn area. The mosque of the AMS was established in 1937. It is the oldest mosque in the State of Michigan, and also considered one of the oldest mosques in North America. Activities include religious & public events, holiday celebrations, community empowerment, health education and recreational events and activities for youth.
