Description: Re.Generation is a non-profit environmental organization founded in 2009 that campaigns for limiting climate change effects, reducing the impact of human activities on the climate and the environment, and for developing the environmental activism in Romania. Re.Generation does not accept funds from companies, but relies on contributions from private individuals, independent foundation grants, and European funds. Since its inception, Re.Generation has mobilized people in non-violent direct action addressing nuclear energy, climate change, and gold mining. Re.Generation is also a member of the Environmental NGO Coalition and of the Save Rosia Montana Campaign.
