Description: The Center for Cartography of Fauna and Flora is a private non- profit organization established in 1996. Its goal is to collect, organize, and disseminate data and information on the prevalence of plant and animal species in Slovenia. With the help of external collaborators it maintains a database of over 1,000,000 varieties of flora and fauna, likely the largest collection of its kind in the country. In recent years, the organization has carried out more than 150 projects in the areas of nature conservation, spatial planning, and data processing. The organization is licensed in environmental impact and risk assessment. It also offers support in the implementation of geographic information systems (GIS) projects.
