Description: The Kenya Water for Health Organisation (KWAHO) was registered as an indigenous non-governmental organization in 1983. KWAHO’s mission is to provide programs and services in environmental management training, hygiene educational materials, sanitation facilities, and safe, sanitary, and sustainable water to underserved communities in Kenya. The KWAHO’s objectives include building the capacities of communities to promote income generating activities, improve gender equality, and manage natural resources, in part by utilizing cost- effective technologies and mobilizing resources.
