They focus on facilitating individual support encounters, support groups, stress-reduction trainings, and grief and loss rituals. All individual support meetings happen by video or telephone. They make it clear that they are not offering therapy, but are connecting individuals for care and support. Some of the individuals involved in the project are licensed therapists, professionally certified to offer therapeutic services. As consenting adults, participants are encouraged to construct the relationship that feels most helpful. Once they connect individuals, the interaction is outside the network.

Founded in 2014 by small business owners as an anti-business improvement district organization, QNU "believes in establishing community control over land-use, policing, and immigration policies that directly impact and works to displace us." It accomplishes its work through use of grassroots organizing, direct action, leadership development, advocacy, and community education. Beginning on April 1, 2020, QNU uses its Instagram account to communicate directly to its members and allies around campaigns to support its community during COVID-19. The feed includes still and moving image and calls for support for Elmhurst Hospital, emergency response funds for laundry workers, announcements for know your rights trainings, and actions to support houseless community members. Description: Aldo Tambellini was born in Syracuse, New York in 1930 but grew up in Italy. In 1946, Aldo returned to the United States. With a full scholarship at Syracuse University he received a BFA in Painting, ‘54 and a Teaching Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, MFA ’59. In 1959, Aldo moved to New York City’s Lower East Side. He founded the underground, “counter-culture” group, “Group Center,” which organized alternative ways and non- traditional presentation of the artists’ work to the public. He pioneered in the video art movement in the late 60’s. In 1965, he began painting directly on film beginning his “Black Film Series” of which, “Black TV,” (made using both film and video) was the winner of the International Grand Prix, Oberhausen Film Festival, 1969. Simultaneously, Aldo began a series of “Electromedia Performances” which organically brought together, projected paintings, film, video, poetry, light, dance, sound and live musicians. He founded the Gate Theatre, the only daily public theatre showing avant- garde independent filmmakers and in 1967, he co-founded with Otto Piene, the Black Gate, a second theatre which presented live multi-media (Electromedia) performances and installations. From 1976 to 1984, Aldo was a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. There he conducted workshops and organized with “communicationsphere” a series of international interactive Media Communication Projects. Since ’84, he has concentrated on poetry and performing his poetry with music and video projection. In 2005 Aldo produced a digital film, “Listen” which incorporates his anti-war and political poetry, animation/video and film clips. This film won First Place in the “Short Experimental Film by an Independent Filmmaker” category at the New England Film Festival in October 2005 and at the Syracuse International Film Festival in 2006. In 2007 Aldo was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Syracuse University at the 2007 Syracuse International Film Festival. The same year he received the Keys to the City of Cambridge from Mayor Ken Reeves in recognition of his contribution to the cultural environment of Cambridge. In 2010 Aldo was awarded a Gold medal from the Italian Government, Lucchesi Nel Mondo Organization, in recognition of his lifetime achievement in the Arts. The website contains examples of his art.

Description: Part of the Food and COVID-19 NYC Digital Archive and Collection. “What’s for Dinner?”, was a personal investigation of COVID-19’s impact on feeding work in New York City by Daisy Zeijlon. This timeline chronicles the weekly meal plans I made from March 21, 2020 - November 20, 2020, intersecting them with important pandemic moments: high and low positive test and death rates, grocery store shortages and phases of reopening, amongst other milestones. This project’s purpose is to demonstrate the ways that the public narrative surrounding COVID-19 in NYC and the private experience of living through it overlap, contrast and interact.

Description: Website for the Young Exhibition Makers and Youth Action Council, education programs created by No Longer Empty. Young Exhibition Makers (Y.Ex) was an exhibition and curatorial learning program for youth ages 14-19, led by Curator-Artist-Educator Catherine Feliz. The program focused on curation, art, and social justice literacy, as well as professional development. In 2020, Y.Ex began with a focus on mental health and disability activism, which led into the virtual exhibition curated by the youth in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Youth Action Council (YAC) was a program for youth, ages 14-19, to explore the intersections between art and social justice, led by Curator-Artist-Educator, Augustina Warton. The program focused on diversity, equity, and cultivating socio-political literacy and professional development, with all activities based on grassroots activism, communication, and critical thinking. In 2020, due the COVID-19 pandemic, the program pivoted to virtual meetings where the youth worked to specifically address the current pandemic through creating NLE NYCapsule. THe website contains cohort biographies, artist biographies, curatorial statements, the digital exhibition, reflections from he NYCApsule, and informational catalogs.
