Description: ProPark's mission is to improve the management of protected areas through training, education programs. Its projects aim to help maintain natural and cultural values and build working models of sustainable development in Romania. Its objectives are to promote protected areas as models for conservation and sustainable use of natural resources and increase the acceptance of protected areas among communities and the general public. Another goal of the organization is to make young people and children aware of the importance of protected areas, nature conservation in general, and work opportunities in these areas. The organization also performs advocacy to help establish a coherent framework for the efficient management of protected area in Romania, including an appropriate legal and financial framework.
