Description: Established in April, 1999, Action for the Protection of Wild Animals (APOWA) has a decade of experience in the field of animal welfare, nature conservation, and sustainable development. APOWA addresses issues like animal welfare, and the survival of species and their habitats. It acts to conserve natural resources in coastal Odisha, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on evidence, and take into account community needs.
