Description: The principal objective of the Southern and Eastern Africa Rainwater Network (SEARNET) is to create and promote a movement for rainwater harvesting and management as a sustainable alternative source to domestic and irrigation water in the face of scarcity coupled with an emphasis on using water for agricultural production. Programs by SEARNET are meant to enact the creating of green rainwater harvesting among members of NGOs and CSOs, and policymakers alike.
