Description: Klub Gaja was founded in 1988 by Jacek Bozek who, even under the communist regime, decided to set up an independent environmental organization. For 25 years, the organization has encouraged Poles to take action for the environment and animals rights and have public debate about what it means to be environmentally friendly. Through its ideas and actions Klub Gaja hopes to inspire and encourage cooperation between diverse groups of people.
