Description
The Useful Life Override (ULO) application is closely linked with the Depreciation database (DPR application). The overrides entered by campuses into ULO tables are used in the annual depreciation database processing, and affects the annual calculation of depreciation expense for assets. There are no direct interfaces to the ULO application, although for reporting, often ULO data plus depreciation database data are combined
The Useful Life Override (ULO) application is primarily a web-based online update application written in java using Sybase ASE as the dbms. The application is closely tied to the Depreciation database application – in fact, the ULO Sybase tables reside in the depreciation Sybase databases dprbdg (Buildings) and dpreqp (equipment).
