Due to technical difficulties within the Octel voice mail system,
IR&C Communication Services will shut down UCOP voice mail services
some time after 4:00 this afternoon in order to make emergency repairs.
We will send out a notice when repairs have been made and services
restored.
During the shutdown, no UCOP location will have access to voice mail.
During the restoral process, all messages received after 6 p.m., Monday,
September 27, will be lost. Thus, all UCOP personnel are advised to
review and take note of any stored voice mail messages.
If you experience trouble with voice mail, do not hesitate to contact
Communication Services at 987-0011. Please contact me at 987-0371
if you have any questions about this process.
