New Videoconference Room in Franklin Building

July 15, 2009

To: UCOP Community
From: Tara Brant, Manager, Technology Service Desk

Voice Services has opened a second videoconference facility in the Franklin Building to accommodate the growing demand for high-quality videoconferencing. Located in room 9405, this new videoconference facility provides high definition capability, which allows participants to view other sites in a 16:9 widescreen format that provides razor-sharp picture resolution, 50’ plasma monitors, and CD quality audio.

We are showcasing the facility in an Open House on Monday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All UCOP staff are invited. Please come to see demos, ask questions, and meet the videoconferencing support staff.
