Outlook Tip of the Month: Keyboard Shortcuts

For some people, keyboard shortcuts are the quickest way to issue Outlook commands, instead of clicking and dragging with the mouse. Here is a list of popular keyboard commands:
- Compose a new message: CTRL+SHIFT+M
- Open a note: CTRL+SHIFT+N
- Create a new contact: CTRL+SHIFT+C.
- Create a new calendar appointment: CTRL+SHIFT+A.
- Go to Mail view: CTRL+1
- Go to Calendar view: CTRL+2
- Go to Contacts view: CTRL+3
- Go to the Tasks list: CTRL+4
- Go to Notes view: CTRL+5
- Go to the Folder List view: CTRL+6
- Reply to the current e-mail message: CTRL+R
- Forward the current e-mail message: CTRL+F
- Delete the current e-mail message: CTRL+D
- Send an open message: ALT+S
- Select several adjacent items: Click the first item, and then hold down SHIFT and click the last item
- Select several nonadjacent items: Click the first item and then hold down CTRL and click each additional item
- Select all the items in a folder: Click one of the items and press CTRL+A
- Quickly check spelling in an open item: Press F7
