On August 1, IR&C will launch the computer refresh phase of the Technology Asset Management Program. The computer refresh program is an accelerated project to replace the oldest computers across UCOP departments. Starting in August, IR&C will begin working with departments to prioritize which computers require replacement.
Computers selected for the refresh will be replaced with UCOP's standard computing bundles. The bundles are comprised of higher-end computer models that offer many useful features. The TechDesk staff would like to demo the computers to you and answer any questions you may have about the different models and the Technology Asset Management Program.
We will hold demos in three UCOP locations on the following dates:
Tuesday, July 26
Franklin Building Lobby
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 27
20th Street Building Lobby (near front entrance)
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 3
Kaiser Building, Room 1202
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
