IR&C is now accepting requests for SharePoint sites. A brief description of the SharePoint service is available on the IR&C Web site, including a Quick Start Guide (pdf) to accessing and using your site.
Anyone who wants a SharePoint site should first check with their department. Departments need to coordinate development of their site and sub-sites. The link to the request form for SharePoint sites is located on the UCOP SharePoint portal. Note that some Web browsers require a user name and password to access SharePoint sites. If you are prompted to log in, type your user name, e.g., "jsmith," preceded by "ad\" in the pop-up box. (Example: ad\jsmith) Then enter your password.
