IR&C will be upgrading UCOP's communications infrastructure throughout
the remainder of the fiscal year. The upgrade involves the replacement
of network equipment in three locations: 1111 Franklin St., 415 20th
St., and 300 Lakeside Dr. Intermittent network outages will be necessary
in order for us to replace the equipment.
The first of these scheduled outages will begin Friday, March 25,
at 7:00 p.m. and conclude on Saturday, March 26 at midnight. All three
locations will be affected and will experience intermittent outages
in network access, including the Internet.
We will inform you about scheduled outages as the network upgrade
