Annual Acceptance of the UCOP User Agreement

UCOP employees are required on an annual basis to renew their acceptance of the UCOP User Agreement for Electronic Information Resources. Each of us automatically receives the renewal one year after we last accepted the agreement. For many of us, this will be on or shortly after September 2, the date the revised agreement was issued last year. There have been no changes to the agreement since that time.

Acceptance Process
When you turn on your computer on your renewal date, the agreement will appear on your screen. You must accept it before you may continue with the computer startup process. To accept, you must

  1. read the agreement, scrolling to the end, and
  2. click the “Agree” button at the bottom.

I encourage you to re-read the User Agreement now. It provides important guidance about your responsibility to protect sensitive data and secure UC resources. If you have any questions, please contact in IR&C or 987-0638.
