Center
for Instructional Technology (CIT):
The
CIT supports the application of information/computing
technology to the delivery of course
content. Its role is to facilitate
and promote effective use of multimedia
and computer-based resources in the
UCSF curricula. The CIT offers courses
and workshops for faculty and others
in a variety of topics, including
how to design courses in WebCT and
how to make the most of technology
in developing online courses. The
CIT also supports a lab with the tools
needed to develop digital content.

Office of Educational Technology
(School of Medicine):
Develops and
supports the School's online curriculum,
known as iROCKET. Also provides technical
and instructional design support to
students, staff and faculty interested
in developing multimedia learning
materials, online courses and instructional
modules. |

Instructional
Grants Program:
The Instructional
Grants Program, administered by the Center
for Instructional Technology, offers grants
annually to fund innovative instructional
improvement projects developed by UCSF faculty,
