Center for Teaching Excellence:
The services the Center provides faculty include feedback on courses, course assessment consultation, and workshops. It also provides services for TAs and produces a newsletter called Faculty Focus.
 
   
Faculty Instructional Technology Center:
Has software and hardware that UCSC faculty can use for the development and maintenance of multimedia instructional materials.
 
   
Media Services:
Provides instructional technology support for the academic general assignment classrooms on campus, media activities for the campus community, and special events
 
   
UCSC Teaching Toolbox:
Web portal to various teaching resources at UCSC and beyond.

  Instructional Improvement Grants:
Funds proposals for projects that will enhance learning in undergraduate courses and become part of the regular UCSC curriculum. Mini-Grants provide up to $2000 to support small-scale projects to improve undergraduate instruction. Course Development Fellowships focus on developing new undergraduate courses or significantly reworking existing courses. Major Grants encourage innovation in teaching and learning, including projects that incorporate technology, development of teaching materials, and new classroom approaches. Up to $15,000 is available to each successful applicant.
