Academic Computing:
The Instructional Technology component of Academic Computing supports campus faculty by introducing new technologies and by providing access, training, and support in the use of computers and networking in the classroom.
 
   
Center for Teaching Excellence:
The Center is responsible for UCR's activities related to excellence in instruction; collecting and disseminating information about teaching methodologies; coordinating the development and implementation of the "research across the curriculum" concept; nurturing the development and enrichment of UCR’s culture of inquiry; and coordinating a faculty mentor program oriented to instructional quality.
 
   
Distance Learning:
The Distance Learning unit of Media Resources provides opportunities and support in the utilization of diverse educational and informational advanced technologies. Its three major services are: Video Teleconferencing, Instructional Television, and Satellite Programming.
 
   
iLearn (Blackboard implementation):
iLearn provides UCR instructors and students with instructional and communication tools for Web-based on-line instruction and learning.

  Faculty Minigrants:
The grants are for the support of undergraduate instructional improvement projects, with a maximum award level of $400. Faculty Minigrants are designed to encourage individual faculty to make small scale but effective changes in the curriculum of their courses or to attempt innovative approaches to the delivery of subject materials.
