Welcome to the CFO Division

Peter J. Taylor, CFO

The CFO Division is responsible for the systemwide management and oversight of all aspects of financial management at the 10 campuses, five academic medical centers and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Responsibilities include oversight on accounting and financial controls, risk management, strategic sourcing, tax compliance, payroll coordination and long range financial planning. In addition, the Office is responsible for external relationships with rating agencies, investment houses, banks, financial auditors and financial regulators. The Division administers cross-campus efforts on financial matters and works closely with the Division of Business Operations on budgeting and policy decisions.
