Here are permit application forms for your use. The instructions for filling out the forms are included with the forms themselves. The forms in PDF are for printing and filling in via typewriter or handwriting; the Microsoft Word forms can be filled in on your computer then saved and printed.

Please note that, as of Monday, March 17, 2008, the permit fees have been updated. As such Appendix E in each of the following forms has been superseded.  Here are the approved regulations regarding the new fees. 

Each of the application forms below has been updated on March 20, 2008. If you have downloaded these forms prior to that date without the updated Appendix E, you need to get this updated version of the form.

Before filling out an application, please be sure that you actually need to apply to the Coastal Commission itself. In areas where there is a certified Local Coastal Program, it is to that city or county to which you must apply and they have their own forms. Otherwise you apply directly to the Coastal Commission.
