Myanmar Cyclone 2008 Web Archive

California Digital Library

In May 2008, the Cyclone Nargis struck the country of Myanmar. One of the largest cyclones in recorded history, its force was concentrated on a nation with an insular government. The public response to this event included not only reaction to the storm itself, but to the Myanmar government’s handling of relief efforts, communication and foreign aid.

This archive includes web sites from the Myanmar government, U.S. government sources, and blogs of Myanmar expatriates documenting the event.
